On 10-12 March 2025, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, hosted the 11th International LNG Congress (LNGCON), marking another milestone in the growth of this event. Each year, LNGCON gathers the global LNG community, and in 2025, it welcomed 370+ delegates from 240+ leading companies worldwide. The Congress was held with the support of the Host Sponsor Shell, along with Regional Partners Anthony Veder and Titan Clean Fuels, Green Partner Iveco and Day 3 Sponsor Nordsol.

A New Session Format: Debates on Alternative Fuels

LNGCON 2025 introduced an exciting new format to its business programme — debates. The session Debates on the Shifting Landscape of Energy Choices: Alternative Fuels of Today saw industry leaders and experts from BB Energy, Elengy and Scania engage in dynamic exchanges about the evolving role of alternative fuels. This interactive format provided a platform for open discussions on the challenges and opportunities in shaping the future of energy, transportation and decarbonisation efforts.

A Look at the Latest Advancements in LNG and Alternative Fuels

The Congress also featured a comprehensive exhibition, with 65+ exhibitors presenting groundbreaking solutions in hydrogen, biofuels, synthetic fuels and LNG technologies. Delegates had the opportunity to explore the main Focus Exhibition and the Hydrogen & Alternative Fuels Innovation Zone, where they witnessed cutting-edge advancements in LNG bunkering systems, cryogenic equipment, safety systems, monitoring and control solutions and bio-LNG technologies. Attendees engaged directly with technology providers, gaining firsthand insights into the latest industry innovations.
